• A.T.F.N. (All that for Nothing) - The magician has a participant secretly select and remember a card. He then describes a number of different methods magicians use to determine the identity of a selected card, and provides countermeasures for each. Finally, after all possible methods are accounted for and countered, the magician reveals the identity of the selected card without using the cards at all.

• Far Beyond Coincidence - A transposition effect that requires a marked deck in which the participant's and magician's card magically switch places. Note: The effect makes use of The Shadow Palm Principle, which is detailed in this book as well.
